RB Leipzig manager Marco Rose has admitted to not feeling worried about Arsenal or any club, who can trigger Dani Olmo’s release clause by Saturday’s expiry date.

Contrary to previous reports, it was said that the player’s buy-out clause expired on Monday but it seems it will expire on Saturday night. Olmo has admirers all across Europe after being one of Spain’s standout performers at the Euro 2024.

Arsenal have been named as interested suitors, with the likes of Chelsea and Manchester City also keen. Clubs have the opportunity to trigger his release clause, but this is not something that Rose is stressed about.

“I’m super relaxed about it, I can’t change it anyway,” he told Sky Germany, who claim that Olmo’s release clause stands at just over £50m. “We’ll know tomorrow, but I’ll sleep soundly. Again, we have a good team.

“We will have a good team again. We have ideas about how we can perhaps compensate for things. And if tomorrow is the end of the day and nothing has happened, then the coach will be happy.

“I am still optimistic that we can definitely keep our top players here because they want to stay here too, because they know what they have in Leipzig, because they have made good steps here.”

The midfielder has also spoken about his future plans this week, telling Marca that he has already made his choice after receiving several offers. “We’ll see. The people who deal with that (transfer market) already know what I want to do,” he said.

“I don’t know if I’ll stay in Germany, we’ll see. I want to be somewhere where I’m valued and loved and what I want to do is win. There are several options, we’ll see what happens.”
