Two men have been rushed to hospital following a double stabbing on a residential street in East Ham this morning (July 26), according to the Romford Recorder. Officers were called to the scene on St Johns Road at 3.35am to reports of a stabbing.
The London Air Ambulance also attended the scene, which is used for the city’s most critically injured patients.
The first paramedic arrived on the scene within two minutes of the initial report coming in, where the two men, believed to be in their 40s, were discovered with stab wounds. They were taken to a major trauma centre where their condition is believed to be non life-threatening.

A 36-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent and remains in police custody.
Closures were put in place at a section of the A124 Barking Road between the A117 Ron Leighton Way and Keppel Road, with Lloyd Road also taped off.
