The Blues are remaining one of the most active teams in the market after their 3-0 win over Club America and have agreed a deal to sell Conor Gallagher to Atletico Madrid but the midfielder is yet to greenlight the transfer himself.football.london understands he has rejected a fresh contract from his boyhood club though.
A deal for him could open up striker Samu Omorodion to go the other way. However, Chelsea are also in talks with Napoli over a possible swap deal that would see Romelu Lukaku end up in Italy and Victor Osimhen become the new No.9 for Enzo Maresca.
Elsewhere and some reports from Serie A also claim Chelsea have gone a step further, agreeing to sell their current senior forward to Aston Villa instead. Also on the way out could be Trevoh Chalobah and Cesare Casadei.
There are a host of other loans and exits to be completed as well with Andrey Santos chief among them. He is closing in on going back to RC Strasbourg for the 2024/25 season whilst Genk goalkeeper Mike Penders could be purchased and then sent to his current club again.
It comes with Kepa Arrizabalaga still waiting to find himself a new team. Penders could cost Chelsea up to £17million and would effectively replace Kepa as one of the outsiders to the first team if a deal was completed.
