Mohamed Salah has warned Arsenal that Liverpool are eyeing further success after winning this season’s Premier League – insisting he and his team-mates have the ability to “win every trophy we want”.

The 32-year-old was instrumental in helping the Reds finish ahead of Arsenal and Manchester City to secure a second Premier League title success at Anfield in five years.

However, the Egyptian, who last month signed a new two-year deal, insists Arne Slot’s side are good enough to retain the Premier League title and challenge for the Champions League next term.

The Reds were knocked out of the Champions League on penalties at the round-of-16 stage by Paris Saint-Germain, who also defeated Aston Villa and Arsenal on the way to securing their place in the final of the competition.

As a result, the former Chelsea and AS Roma frontman has set his sights on bringing a seventh European Cup back to Anfield next term.

“Well, this season I wanted the Premier League and I think I never felt happier in the club for eight years like this moment in the Spurs game,” Salah told Sky Sports.

“I really wish we win the Champions League again. I know the Premier League is always nice for the club, that’s how it should be, but I think I’d love to win the Champions League and Premier League again – at least win one in two years.”

Salah is one of the few survivors from Liverpool’s last Premier League title triumph five years ago – Virgil van Dijk, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Andy Robertson and Alisson Becker among the others – and believes Slot’s current group have the ability to replicate Jurgen Klopp’s side that won every trophy on offer during a glittering three-year between 2019 and 2022.

On the current side, Salah added: “It’s good. Players are new, players are excited, players are young, they learn from us and they also have the ability to give it all. So I think we have a very good group and we can win every trophy we want.”
