With spring just around the corner, Brits up and down the country are hoping it brings with it a bit of sunshine to break up the grey skies and rain showers that have rung in 2024.
While January and February were – as expected – pretty dour, March hasn’t been all that bad so far, but the rest of the month is a bit of a rollercoaster.
In fact, April showers are looking more and more like a guarantee by the day.

Tomorrow (Wednesday, March 20), the official start of spring, will see temperatures leap to a balmy 18C in London, according to BBC Weather.
Having said that, it will still bring rain with it, and in the following days temperatures are set to take a major dip again.
On Thursday 21, it’ll bump down to 16C, before 13C on Friday 22 and 11C on Saturday 23. It will stay like this for four days.
