When it will get sunny again this week after grim 5-day rain forecast

The sunny weather is set to return according to forecasters at the BBC, but we’ll be hit with rain first. The majority of the week will be miserable and wet but from this Sunday (June 8) onwards the capital London will be basking in the heat as thermostats rocket to as high as 26C.

It’s already been a scorching start to the year with Kew Gardens recording the hottest May on record at 29.3C. This obliterated the previous record of 27.4C, which was set in Scotland, in 1990.

Summer is well and truly here, so always make sure to wear sun cream and drink plenty of water. London’s upcoming weather forecast can be found below.
