Meghan Markle is set to make more appearances in public as she prepares to launch her new lifestyle brand.
The Duchess of Sussex launched her new brand – American Riviera Orchard – earlier this month. It has already been estimated she will ‘make six figures’ within weeks of launching the website and online shop, a brand expert has claimed.
Now Meghan will be likely to seen out and about more often as she promotes her exciting new project. And royal commentator Richard Eden suggests Prince Harry will join his wife as she sets out to make her business a success.

Insiders reportedly said Meghan spent ‘over a year’ working on American Riviera Orchard. They claimed: “It’s all the things that are close to her heart. All the things she is passionate about.”
It comes as Prince Harry’s wife was accused of using Princess Diana’s legacy to promote her new business. Brand expert Hayley Knight predicts Meghan is onto a big winner. She told Daily Mail’s Femail: “Meghan will certainly see success quickly once the store is launched. We have seen with previous celebrity launches, that the demand is incredibly high, and products sell quickly.”
Hayley added: “I can’t imagine Meghan will make less than six figures within the first few weeks of opening, if not in the first week if the company sells globally.”
Meanwhile Meghan said she ‘didn’t have a clue’ about royal life despite Prince Harry’s stark warning. In an interview that resurfaced from their engagement, the former actress appeared clueless about the new role she was about to step into.
During their engagement interview with BBC’s Mishal Husain in November 2017, Harry was said to be so concerned that he sat Meghan down beforehand to explain his worries, and they went over this in the TV interview.
However, when Meghan was asked if she understood what she was getting into, she said: “I think I can safely say, as naïve as it sounds now, having gone through this learning curve in the past year and a half, that I did not have any understanding of just what it would be like.”
Their wedding took place just six months later. In a future interview, fans thought they could pinpoint exactly when the cracks began to appear with the couple and their apparent disenchantment being in ‘The Firm.’
It was in an emotional interview with Tom Bradbury that fans could see something was wrong. The heavily pregnant Duchess said the negative press coverage had made things harder when she was already ‘really vulnerable.’
She said: “Look, any woman especially when they are pregnant, you’re really vulnerable and so that was made really challenging, and then when you have a new born – you know… And especially as a woman, it’s a lot. So you add this on top of just trying to be a new mom or trying to be a newlywed…
“And, also thank you for asking, because not many people have asked if I’m OK,” she added. “But it’s a very real thing to be going through behind the scenes.”
When the presenter asked her: “And the answer is, would it be fair to say, not really OK, as in it’s really been a struggle?”, to which the Duchess replied, “Yes”.
Multiple sources confirmed that the Palace – and members of the royal family – were stunned by her remarks. And Meghan herself later expressed her surprise at the reaction to the interview.
