Galatasaray are reportedly trying to sign both Leroy Sane and Victor Osimhen this summer transfer window.

Osimhen had seemed set to join Al-Hilal, who reportedly agreed a £64million deal with Napoli for the striker, before the 10 June deadline. However, he ultimately turned down a prospective move to the Saudi Pro League club.

Now, the Turkish team, where he spent last season on loan and for whom he scored 37 goals, are reputedly keen on signing Osimhen permanently. Arsenal are often tentatively credited with an interest in the Nigeria international, much like fellow Premier League clubs Chelsea and Manchester United.

Sane is now another player Galatasaray are purportedly pursuing. Sky Germany claims a transfer for the former Manchester City winger is in its final stage and on the verge of happening.

The Gunners are said to have asked Sane to wait. However, the player has reputedly rejected approaches from other clubs, including a big offer from Al-Hilal and his current employers, Bayern Munich, in favour of the offer from Istanbul.

Sane is said to have informed Bayern on Wednesday morning of his decision to leave on a free transfer at the end of this month when his contract expires. The perennial Bundesliga champions are said to have offered him a guaranteed gross annual salary of between £10-11million, up from a proposed £8million.

Galatasaray, however, have proposed £8-£10million net, but were reputedly willing to go as high as £13million. Negotiations are reputedly ongoing in the Turkish capital, with a verbal agreement with Sane reputedly now in place.

Arsenal will seemingly not be signing the Germany international then. However, missing out to Galatasaray could aid any attempts to acquire Osimhen.

That is because it remains unclear how the Turkish team could afford the transfers of both players. While there is no fee to pay Bayern for Sane, signing the Napoli striker would cost circa £64million, working on the fee they agreed with the Italian club.

Wages-wise, Sky have previously reported that they are prepared to pay around £13million net on a four-year deal and ready to offer Napoli between £51-55million. That would take their total outlay on Osimhen to over £100million across the length of his contract.
