One year of Labour: What are your thoughts 12 months on?

Today marks a year since Labour were elected to power after 14 years of the Conservatives. Voters turned out on July 4, 2024 to elect a Labour majority, putting them in power for the first time since 2010.

It has been an eventful 12 months for Prime Minister Keir Starmer and his government. From dealing with the war in Ukraine, tackling illegal boat crossings, scrapping NHS England, and a controversial welfare cuts vote, the country has faced a wide array of issues.

Often, the government’s decisions have split the country, but we want to know your thoughts on the year gone. Has there been anything that surprised you? Are you happy or horrified by a policy choice or government agreements?
