Several road closures are set to disrupt Southwark residents over the summer while major works are carried out by the local council, TfL (Transport for London) and gas and water companies.
The upcoming roadworks will last from a few days to a few months, while a Bermondsey road will see road works lifted and is set to open for the first time in three years.
Using information supplied on one.network, the Local Democracy Reporting Service (LDRS) has compiled a list of roads that will be closed over the next few weeks with expected opening dates.
Affected areas include East Dulwich, Southwark, Waterloo, Peckham, Bermondsey, South Bank, Rotherhithe, Walworth and Camberwell.
The longest upcoming road closures are in Ilderton Road, Peckham from July 28 to February 20, 2026 and in Glengarry Road and Thornecombe Road, which are both in East Dulwich with road closures in place from August 4 until November 3, 2025.
