None of this held them back on Friday. Goals from Estevao Willian and Joao Pedro sealed a 2-0 win that could and probably should have been much more comfortable.
Chelsea showed no signs of rustiness, instead clicking straight into gear with an impressive display. All eyes will now be on how Maresca goes about rotating his XI and squad for Milan and the return of some familiar faces.
