Amanda Holden’s make-up artist has revealed the exact £6 false eyelashes that the star has been wearing for her glam make-up looks on the Britain’s Got Talent live shows this week

The Britain’s Got Talent live semi-finals are on TV this week and, as always, Amanda Holden has been wowing viewers with her stunning outfits and hair and make-up looks – and it has been revealed that how glam beauty involves one very affordable high street make-up item.

In snaps shared to his Instagram page, which the BGT star also posted, Amanda’s make-up artist Christian Vermaak tagged in lash brand Ardell, with reports that it’s specifically the Ardell Wispies that he uses to create the 53 year old’s flawless make-up looks. These lashes feature an invisible band and feathery, fanned out hairs, and cost just £6 from Boots.

The £6 Ardell lash kit contains two strips of lashes – which can be used numerous times if cared for properly – plus a tube of Duo lash adhesive.

They’re a popular choice with Boots shoppers too, with a number of five-star reviews praising their look and how lightweight they feel to wear.

“Fantastic lashes. I have now tried 3 other brands but none compare to these, they are the only ones I can recommend,” one glowing review reads. “They have a very fine band so they look very natural. Usually they recommend only using false eyelashes 5 times but you can, with care, wear these many more times if you gently ease off the used glue each time you remove them.”

One reads: “Best eyelashes I have ev er used I will buy them time and time again. The band is really flexible so they’re really easy to apply and blend well into your lash line. The glue is also the best I have found and keeps my lashes in place all day. I could even sleep in them and they wouldn’t budge.”

“I purchased a pair of these a few months ago as a last-minute emergency for a party and ended up getting so many compliments on them,” a third happy customer wrote. “I’ve since bought more pairs and these are always my go-to pair of falsies. I love the natural, lightweight feel they have and they are very easy to use, with a thin band.”

We wonder what eye make-up look these lashes will be used to create on tonight’s show?

Looking for an alternative? Khloé Kardashian has just launched her own collection of falsies with bestselling lash brand Tatti Lashes, with prices starting from £9.95.

Eylure is another popular brand for lashes; we love these £6.49 three-quarter style.
