Ange Postecoglou is holding his press conference with Son Heung-min ahead of Tottenham’s post-season friendly against Newcastle United in Melbourne.
Spurs’ Premier League campaign came to an end with the 3-0 victory at Sheffield United, which confirmed a fifth-place finish and a spot in the Europa League next season. It means Postecoglou’s first season in charge brought a higher finish, more points earned, more goals scored and fewer conceded than the club managed the season before.
The season is not quite over though for the Australian and his players as the club has one more game to play with a trip back to his hometown for Postecoglou and a friendly against fellow Premier League side Newcastle at the famous Melbourne Cricket Ground as part of Global Football Week.
Our Tottenham reporter Alasdair Gold has made the trip down under to watch the game and he will be among the local journalists asking Postecoglou questions about the match and the season as a whole.
The Spurs boss is likely to be asked about the absence of Cristian Romero and Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg from the trip to Melbourne as well as what the summer holds in the transfer window for the north London club. Tottenham captain Son Heung-min will also be speaking to the media ahead of the game.
Scroll down for Alasdair’s latest updates from the press conference at AAMI Park.
