Arsenal’s summer transfer business has taken a huge upturn in recent weeks. The Gunners completed their first signing right at the start of the month as Kepa Arrizabalaga arrived in a £5million deal from Chelsea.

Martin Zubimendi then joined for £51m from Real Sociedad, before Christian Norgaard put the finishing touches on a £10m move from Brentford. More are expected to follow in due course, however.

Noni Madueke is closing in on a £52m switch from Chelsea, while Viktor Gyokeres and Cristhian Mosquera are expected to complete deals from Sporting CP and Valencia. It’s set to take their spending in excess of £200m.

Elsewhere, a number of players could be on their way out. Leandro Trossard and Gabriel Martinelli have both attracted interest, while Reiss Nelson and Fabio Viera are among the others that may depart.

Here, football.london take a look at the latest transfer news from the Emirates Stadium…

Trossard exit

While Bayern Munich reportedly remain interested in Leandro Trossard, Fenerbahce are said to be attempting to wrap up a £20million deal for the Arsenal forward, according to The Times.

Reports suggest that Trossard has agreed personal terms with the Turkish side after talks with Jose Mourinho, who was able to convince the player of his vision and project. The 30-year-old scored 10 times and provided 10 assists in 56 appearances for the Gunners during the 2024/25 season.

FL says: Although Trossard has been a fine servant to Arsenal since his move from Brighton in January 2023, I think this is time for him to move on. The Belgian is into his final 12 months of his contract and this could be the Gunners’ final chance to fetch a considerable fee back.

Arsenal signed Trossard for £27m and, as Fenerbahce are prepared to offer £20m, the Gunners would only make a small loss. Considering the impact he has made and the goals he has scored during his time at the Emirates, the transfer has got to be considered as a success, surely?

Trossard’s departure could therefore fund a move for a left-sided forward. Rodrygo, Rafael Leao, Eberechi Eze and Anthony Gordon are among those that Arsenal could sign if Trossard leaves – meaning his departure could be a real masterstroke should Andrea Berta pull it off.

Mosquera deal

Cristhian Mosquera is expected to imminently fly to London for his Arsenal medical and complete the formalities of a move, according to Cope.

The Gunners want to add a centre-back to their squad this summer and Mosquera, 21, is the man that has been identified, having impressed for Valencia last season.

Mosquera, who has one year left on his contract at the Mestalla, has informed club directors of his desire to sign for Arsenal in a package worth around £17million.

FL says: Arsenal need to sign a centre-back this summer, there is no doubt about it. While Gabriel and William Saliba are first-choice at the back, the Gunners require at least one more back-up alongside Jakub Kiwior.

Mosquera, at his age, could the perfect addition for Arteta’s side. He would arrive as competition but has the potential to become a number one starter in the future.
