Mikel Arteta is set to face the press after his side’s Premier League clash with AFC Bournemouth at Emirates Stadium.
The Gunners started the game superbly and should have been in front early on when William Saliba, Declan Rice and Leandro Trossard all spurned decent chances.
Eventually they found the breakthrough just before half time thoguh as Kai Havertz won a soft penalty that Bukayo Saka was able to convert.
Bournemouth grew into the game a little after the break, but it was Arsenal who doubled their lead when Leandro Trossard’s snap shot beat Mark Travers low down.
There was then VAR controversy on both sides as Bournemouth and Arsenal had goals ruled out. Bournemouth’s in particular could easily have been given on another day.
