Arsenal can return to the top of the league table with a win over their former head coach, Unai Emery. The Gunners were beaten 1-0 at Villa Park after a controversial clash watched from the stands by Mikel Arteta, who was serving a one-match touchline ban.
Gabriel Jesus was denied what looked like a clear penalty after being brought down in the box by Douglas Luiz. The Brazilian, however, is unavailable for the clash as he serves his suspension following picking up his tenth yellow card of the season.
The Arsenal squad is looking in good shape, although there have been questions over Gabriel Magalhaes, who missed the open training section on Friday morning before Arteta’s press conference. The Spaniard appeared pretty confident, however, that his squad would be fine for Sunday.
