Arsenal have been handed a potential boost ahead of their Premier League clash against Manchester City with Bukayo Saka spotted with the squad ahead of the game.
The winger has been a doubt for the Gunners for the game after picking up an injury in last month’s Premier League win over Leeds United.
That has caused him to miss both international duty with England as well as Premier League games vs Liverpool and Nottingham Forest.
Ahead of the game, Mikel Arteta hinted that a late decision would be made on Saka’s availability vs Man City.
The fact that he’s been spotted with the team hints that he could be included in the squad.
Speaking in his pre-match press conference, the Arsenal boss said on Saka, Martin Odegaard and Ben White: “If there is a chance, it will be after tomorrow’s session as they haven’t done anything yet, so we’ll have more information tomorrow.”
He added: “Because everything has been modified so far for them and there’s still a few things to clear and tomorrow we’ll have more information whether they are part of the squad, they have a chance to be part of the squad or not.”
In another hint that Saka could return against City, BBC Sport report that the winger has now returned to full first team training ahead of the game.
It is added that the ‘early indications’ are that he could be available for selection for the match.

It is said that club captain Odegaard has also stepped up his training, but he may not be ready to make a return against City.
The midfielder was forced off the pitch in last weekend’s win over Nottingham Forest and was not spotted with the rest of the squad ahead of this weekend’s match.
