Larsa Pippen says she gives her teenage daughter a £2,000 monthly allowance for treats and Uber rides. The Real Housewives of Miami star spoke about the generous pocket money she provides to her 15-year-old daughter Sophia during a reunion show of the reality TV programme.
Larsa, who was married to former basketball player, Scottie Pippen, has four children: Scotty Jr, 24, Preston, 22, Justin, 19, and Sophia, 15. She doesn’t see anything wrong with giving her daughter this amount each month saying “LA is super expensive” when speaking on the show. She added: “So after school, she orders food or Uber or buys presents for her friends’ birthdays.”
When asked by the host, Andy Cohen, if she believes the amount is too much, Larsa,49, said she thinks it’s quite common in their neighbourhood. Even her castmate Adriana de Moura backed her up, referring to Larsa as a good mum and suggesting there are other aspects she could be criticised for.

Sophia gets money every month and also makes extra cash by modelling. She has worked with American brand Fashion Nova, reports the Mirror, and often shows off their clothes on Instagram.
Larsa, her mum, said about Sophia’s work: “I have a deal with Fashion Nova and they gave her a deal, and she was the face for Oscar de la Renta. She literally makes money, you know? “
Sophia started modelling when she was just five years old. She was in New York City’s Kids Fashion Week in 2014. She says she wants to be a runway model and start her own clothes line one day.
In 2022, Larsa told the Daily Dish: “I want my kids to do the things that make them feel good. I feel like if they’re comfortable doing whatever passion or whatever they want to pursue, I feel like I’m excited to help.”
