Chelsea’s transfer policy has been clear for all to see under Todd Boehly and Clearlake Capital’s stewardship.

The Blues have been signing up young talent on long contracts with a view to either seeing them prosper in the first team for years to come or to sell them on for bigger fees in the future.

Head coach Enzo Maresca is set to welcome a number of new players into the fold this summer who have already signed for Chelsea but have either been out on loan or have been too young to officiall make the move to Stamford Bridge just yet.

Estevao Willian, Aaron Anselmino, Mike Penders and Andrey Santos are among the names in that category of player.

None of the aforementione quartet have played a game for the Blues as yet, but there are high hopes for all of them. However, one could be on the move before he has even played a game for Chelsea.

According to le10sport in France, Arsenal are working hard on a deal to sign the 21-year-old from Chelsea this summer. The report states, however, that Arsenal face competition from Paris Saint-Germain.

Arsenal are likely to be light in midfield next season, with both Thomas Partey and Jorginho out of contract in north London, although it looks like Martin Zubimendi will be signing from Real Sociedad.

Santos has spent the season on loan with Chelsea’s owners’ other club Strasbourg in France, scoring ten goals and providing five assists in 33 games.

Reports sugegst that Chelsea would be looking for a fee in the region of €45million to €50million for Santos, which would be a £20million profit on the £18million figure they paid Vasco de Gama in Brazil to sign him in 2023.

Chelsea can end the 2024/25 Premier League season on a high, but it is never quiet at Stamford Bridge and the summer looks set to be one full of news, with Enzo Maresca looking for transfer to bolster his squad.
