Hello and welcome to live coverage from Notre Dame as Chelsea take on Celtic in a pre-season friendly.
The Blues are now in Indiana after making the long trip from California. Enzo Maresca’s first match in charge of Chelsea ended in a 2-2 draw against Wrexham in Santa Clara, where there were some positive signs for the Italian coach.
Maresca will be hoping the second pre-season friendly of the tour will provide even more encouraging signs as the players continue to build up their fitness ahead of the 2024/25 campaign. The match will kick off at 4pm local time and 9pm UK time.
