All the latest Chelsea injury news and return dates ahead of their highly-anticipated clash vs Arsenal at Stamford Bridge on Sunday afternoon.

Chelsea could welcome Cole Palmer back to the starting line-up when they take on London rivals Arsenal. The Blues will hope to pick up from where they left off when they lock horns with Mikel Arteta’s squad at Stamford Bridge on Sunday afternoon.

The Club World Cup winners extended their unbeaten streak with a 3-0 win vs Barcelona in the UEFA Champions League on Tuesday night. Chelsea have built a head of steam ahead of the festive period, winning five of their last six games across all competitions.

The west Londoners may be in great form, but they’ve failed to beat Arsenal in each of their last seven meetings. Enzo Maresca will be determined to turn the ride this weekend, and, fortunately enough, he could have a trick up his sleeve.

So, with that being said, football.london has rounded-up the latest Chelsea injury news and return dates;

Cole Palmer

Shortly after recovering from his groin injury, Palmer fractured his toe. The playmaker hasn’t featured for Chelsea since he aggravated his muscle issue at the end of September, missing 13 games across all competitions.

What Maresca has said: “He’s available for both (start and feature against Arsenal). His team-mates are happy, we are happy, and the most important thing is that Cole is happy.”

Potential return date: Arsenal (H) – Premier League – Sunday, November 30.

Estevao Willian

Estevao appeared to suffer a knock during Chelsea’s win over Barcelona on Tuesday night. Shortly after receiving treatment, the 18-year-old winger returned to the pitch and, a few moments later, he was brought off.

Potential return date: Arsenal (H) – Premier League – Sunday, November 30.

Romeo Lavia

Lavia was forced to come off in the opening minutes of Chelsea’s meeting against Qarabag earlier this month. The midfielder appeared to suffer a muscle injury.

What Maresca has said: “We feel a shame for him, especially for him. He’s not able to be fit for a long, long period. We will see now. It’s too early to understand what kind of injury. I think it’s his quad.”

Potential return date: December.

Dario Essugo

Essugo suffered a thigh injury while on international duty with Portugal’s Under-21s in September. The midfielder, who was forced to undergo surgery, has recently returned to training.

What Maresca has said: “He took part in the session this morning. So, good news for both.”

Potential return date: January.

Levi Colwill

Colwill ruptured his anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) shortly after reporting for pre-season training. The defender underwent surgery in early August – and he’s currently enrolled on a rehabilitation programme.

Potential return date: End of May.
