Taylor Swift is bringing The Eras Tour to Wembley Stadium this weekend (21, 22 and 23 June)! And if you’ve already attended a concert at Wembley before, you know it can be a challenge to get home.

Wembley Stadium has a capacity of 90,000 people, and the majority rely on public transport to get there. Now, picture most of these people lining up outside Wembley Park underground station, which is about a 13-minute walk from the stadium, all trying to catch a tube home – it’s chaos!

So, UK travel blogger Candace Salters has unveiled a tip to help you leave the stadium quicker, just in time for The Eras Tour! Although there’s no avoiding the queue to enter Wembley Park station, she has a strategy to get you on a tube faster.

Candace, known as @candaceabroad on Instagram, suggests taking the Jubilee line northbound for one stop to Kingsbury instead of directly heading southbound from Wembley Park. While the southbound platform is typically packed after a concert, the northbound platform tends to be much emptier.

Once at Kingsbury, Candace advises walking to the southbound side and boarding an empty tube carriage. This way, you’ll be ahead of the crowds still waiting for the same tube at Wembley Park.

This trick allows you to comfortably find a seat on the tube after standing for nearly four hours during the concert. Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour lasts around 3 hours and 15 minutes, with some shows stretching to 3 hours and 45 minutes, making a seated ride home a welcome relief after an energetic night.
