‘So much better than my old Dyson cordless as you can get all the dust’ – the cordless vacuum judges how much dirt you have in your home
If the recent shopping sales are anything to go by Spring is officially here, a quick scour online will show hundreds of discounted patio furniture, hanging egg chairs and…. cleaning products. Retailers are starting to jump on the seasonal cleaning craze by offering hundreds of pounds off vacuums, including Amazon who has taken £160 off a popular Shark device.
Some shoppers have claimed Shark’s Detect Pro Vacuum, a cordless model, is ‘better than Dyson’. And to make it even better, Amazon has just listed the cheapest price, beating Shark’s own site by offering it for £189 instead of its usual £349.99 price.
“I love this hoover, it’s perfect for quick whip rounds and great for the stairs and car. It’s well made and feels robust – everything attaches easily and it’s so user-friendly”, said one Amazon reviewer. “I love the emptying mechanism, it’s so much better than my old Dyson cordless as you can get all the dust out without having to poke around with a biro!”

The retailer’s discount means that you can pick it up for the cheapest price, ever, as history tracker CamelCamelCamel shows. Fitted with an anti-hair wrap tool (perfect for pet owners), a duster crevice tool, 60-minute run time and a removal battery it can be used on all types of floors across your home. From carpet to hard wooden floors, upholstery and even the boot of your car.
As well as a powerful suction, arguably the most important feature when shopping for a dirt whisking cleaning device, the vacuum is fitted with dirt-detecting intelligence, a hidden piece of technology that automatically adjusts the power depending on the level of mess and dirt, basically it judges how dirty your home is.
As one recent buyer explained: “The smart technology in the cleaner is very good and I can hear when the cleaner changes power for the dirt/dust it detects and then reduces when the floor is cleaner which I like a lot. And it’s not the only Shark discount the Prime retailer has listed to its site, ahead of its expected Spring Deal Days Sale, which starts this coming March 20, and is running until March, 25. The fellow cordless vacuum from the same brand, is the Stratos Pet Pro, and it’s cut by a huge £220.
