Arsenal’s pre-season starts on Monday when the players return to north London.
A training trip to La Manga in Spain is to come before they begin their three-match tour of Asia. The Gunners will play Newcastle United and Tottenham Hotspur in Singapore and Hong Kong, respectively, later this month, but they face Milan in their first fixture of the summer on July 23.
Kepa Arrizabalaga is currently the only new signing who could debut in that match, but Martin Zubimendi should also be an Arsenal player by then. Both feature in the dream football.london squad to take on Milan.
The former Chelsea man bolsters a goalkeeper department that is also due to boast the returning Karl Hein, who spent last season on loan at Real Valladolid. David Raya remains the number one while the others compete to back him up during pre-season.
Cristhian Mosquera could have signed by the time the Gunners are in Singapore. The central defender would seemingly deputise for Gabriel Magalhaes during pre-season, with the aim for the Brazilian to be ready for the start of next season.
In front of the defence should be Zubimendi, with that transfer now merely needing to be announced. Christian Norgaard should have signed from Brentford by then and become a much-needed addition in the middle.
Eberechi Eze may also be moving across London from Crystal Palace. Mikel Arteta would like such a key player in place for the first friendly.
Rodrygo and Viktor Gyokeres would likewise be dream signings to strengthen the frontline. However, after playing for Real Madrid at the Club World Cup, the former may miss much of pre-season.
To facilitate those deals, the likes of Albert Lokonga, Gabriel Martinelli, Fabio Vieira, Leandro Trossard, Jakub Kiwoir, Reiss Nelson and Oleksandr Zinchenko could all move on.
Arsenal dream squad: David Raya, Kepa Arrizabalaga, Karl Hein; Ben White, Cristhian Mosquera, Jurrien Timber, Riccardo Calafiori, William Saliba; Christian Norgaard, Declan Rice, Eberechi Eze, Martin Odegaard, Martin Zubimendi, Max Dowman, Myles Lewis-Skelly, Mikel Merino; Bukayo Saka, Ethan Nwaneri, Kai Havertz, Rodrygo, Viktor Gyokeres.
