Harry Kane has sent Tottenham Hotspur his best wishes ahead of the UEFA Europa League final. The Lilywhites will face Manchester United at the San Mames Stadium on Wednesday night as they battle it out for a European trophy.

Spurs booked a ticket to Bilbao, Spain, with a 5-1 aggregate victory against Bodø/Glimt. Meanwhile, Ruben Amorim’s side stormed past Athletic Club, winning 7-1 over two legs.

Neither of the English giants have a route into Europe next season after disappointing campaigns in the Premier League, so it’s all or nothing. Not only will the winners of the Europa League sneak into the Champions League, they’ll also get their hands on a major trophy.

The 2025 UEFA Europa League final is set, with Tottenham Hotspur and Man United facing off on May 21.

The game is being broadcast on TNT Sports and for free on discovery+, alongside the Conference League final (May 28) and Champions League final (May 31).

While Kane left Tottenham to join Bayern Munich a couple of years ago, he still closely follows his former club. Speaking to Sky Sports, Spurs’ all-time top goalscorer sent his best wishes ahead of the final.

“It’s been a tough season for Tottenham in the league, but they have the chance to make it one of the best seasons in recent history,” said Kane, showing his true colours. “I’m obviously wishing them all the best.

“I still have a lot of friends there in the players and the staff, I know how much it would mean to them, how much it would mean to the fans. It’s going to be tough.

“United have experience in the bigger games. But Tottenham have shown they can compete at any level, and they deserve to be in the final. I’ll be keeping an eye on it for sure and wish them all the best.”

Kane has been celebrating the Bundesliga title with Bayern over the last week or so. The England captain scored in the final game of the season to win the Golden Boost for a second year in a row.

“It was incredible,” said Kane. “A long time coming. I’ve had some near misses but that feeling once it was official was everything I hoped. A lot of hard work, dedication bottled into that moment.

“A weight off the shoulders. A celebration after a hard season as well. I’d have loved to have won a trophy earlier in my career. Even now I’ve won, it may change the perception for a lot of people but for me, enjoy it, but we go again.

“We’ll see how many more we can win. I’m in a great club, I feel really good myself, so I’m just trying to keep improving. I won’t let this slow me down. There’s a lot to achieve still.

“A lot of trophies to be won, some of the biggest out there. For the national team as well, we have a tournament next summer and we’ve been extremely close and I know that’s something not just me, but the whole team are hungry to try to achieve.”
