How to watch Scotland v Germany on TV for FREE: Channel, live stream, kick-off time

As the countdown to the 2024 European Championships continues, supporters across the continent will be eagerly tunning in to see how the opening match of the competition goes down.

Hosts Germany will be facing Scotland, with Julian Nagelsmann’s side hoping to become the first team to ever win four Euros titles having won their last in in 1996 when it was hosted by England. They’ll be wary of pre-tournament favourites England, France, Spain and Portugal as their main competitors for the Henri Delaunay trophy but have conceded at least one goal in their last 12 major tournament fixtures.

Steve Clarke’s Tartan Army will be looking to prove themselves on the international stage though having qualified through a tough group which included Spain, Norway and Georgia to get to the tournament proper, only losing one match in the process.

It’s the third time these two sides have faced off at a major international tournament before, with the Germans having won both previous clashes in the group stage of the 1986 World Cup (2-1) and in the 1992 Euros (2-0).

When is Germany vs Scotland?

The game is set to kick-off at 8pm at the Allianz Arena in Munich on Friday, June 14. It’ll be the opening match of the tournament and is the only game taking place on Friday night, with the clash between the other two Group A teams, Hungary and Switzerland, playing out on Saturday afternoon.
