They say a picture paints a thousand words – and this one is no exception.
Optical illusions have long baffled the internet – from the infamous ‘blue and black/ white and gold’ dress to this creepy picture of someone’s hands. A lot of times, these images don’t really reveal anything about our personality or emotions. But they do provide a little light entertainment – which is great when the little ones are getting bored with the miserable weather.
However, a new sketch claims it can show whether you’re more hard-working or kind-hearted solely based on what image you see first. Intrigued? Take a quick look at the image below…
According to optical illusion expert Mia Yilin, if you first see a person pushing a builder up a hill are an ‘indecisive’ person. This affects everything in your life – from those big risks like taking a new job or moving country, to ‘small everyday decisions’ like what kind of coffee you’re going to order.
“You tend to get overwhelmed when you have multiple options and end up procrastinating because you want to make the perfect move,” Yilin added. “Your fear of rejection is holding you back from taking risks and achieving greater success. You should be more trusting of your intuition and remember that the only failure is not trying.”

However, if you first see a man’s side profile you’re a very selfless person, one that ‘always puts others’ needs above your own’. This applies even if you’re currently struggling yourself.
“You often worry about whether your friend and family are doing well and will do everything in your power to make them happy,” Yilin states. “Sometimes, it can be isolating – feeling that nobody cares the same way for you – but just know your kind heart is priceless and a gift to many even if it’s not being reciprocated.”
