Prince George, who is second in line to the throne, has a hobby that many young boys can relate to – he loves video games.

Despite growing up in the spotlight, his parents, the Prince and Princess of Wales, try to keep their private lives as normal as possible. They’ve even shared some of the challenges they face while raising their three children.

One such challenge is managing how much time George, Charlotte, and Louis spend in front of screens, a struggle many parents can understand. As the eldest child, this rule is especially important for George.

Prince William revealed George’s love for video games during a visit to Bafta in January 2022. As the President of the organisation, William had a go on a video console and mentioned that his eldest son is “fascinated” by video games and films.

This fascination means that he and his wife Kate have to carefully monitor how much screen time George gets.

“At the moment it’s trying to regulate the gaming…monitoring screen time. Got to be careful of that,” William confessed. “They’re fascinated by it. George particularly. He’s more interested in it. The other two are a bit small at the moment but they love films.”

Prince William loves gaming and films, just like his son, as he said at an event that he “adores film and gaming”, according to myLondon. William and his son George also both love sports.

George has been to big football games with his dad, who is the boss of the Football Association. They were spotted looking just alike at an Aston Villa game against Nottingham Forest this year, showing the same faces and feelings during the exciting game.

The young prince went to the Euros twice with his dad in 2021 when he was only eight. A few weeks after watching Aston Villa, George’s favourite team, he was at the big Coronation of King Charles on May 6 2023.

He was the youngest ever Page of Honour to his grandad, the new king. It seems that when he’s not out at these big events, he’s just a regular 10-year-old boy.
