There are severe delays on several London Underground lines, as well as closures on parts of the Tram network this morning, Tuesday May 7. Two Tube lines are partially suspended, with one also severely delayed.

Three further Underground lines are reporting minor delays today. This is also the first full day of strikes on various railway services, as Aslef union members walk out as part of an ongoing dispute over pay.

The District line is currently part suspended in East London, with no service between Barking and Upminster. This is due to a faulty train at Plaistow, and has caused severe delays to the rest of the line.

The Metropolitan line is also part suspended this morning, with no service between Amersham/Chesham and Moor Park following a points failure at Rickmansworth as well as an earlier faulty train at Baker Street. However, the rest of the Metropolitan line appears to be running as normal.

There are minor delays on the Bakerloo, Circle and Hammersmith & City lines.
