A police incident is blocking a major road in South London this morning (Thursday, April 11). Southwark Park Road in Bermondsey has been closed by the Metropolitan Police due to a ‘police incident’, according to traffic monitoring service Inrix.
Inrix says that Southwark Park Road has been closed in both directions since 11.30pm on Wednesday night (April 10). The incident reportedly happened between St James’s Road and Galleywall Road.
There are diversions in place for three London Bus routes: the 1, 381 and P12. The Metropolitan Police has been contacted for further information about this incident.
