A casualty on the track has led to the London Underground being partly closed and delayed this morning (Sunday, May 19). Transport for London reports that, as of 8.17am, there is no service between Golders Green and Edgware while emergency services deal with the incident.

There are minor delays on the rest of the line. As well as issues on the Northern line, there are minor delays on the Hammersmith and City line due to train cancellations.

In addition, there is no service on the Piccadilly line between Acton Town and Uxbridge. Customers have been urged to use Metropolitan line services between Rayners Lane and Uxbridge.

Replacement bus service PL4 operates between Acton Town and Rayners Lane via Ealing Common, North Ealing, Hanger Lane (for Central line and Park Royal), Sudbury Town, Sudbury Hill and South Harrow. Some late night buses will serve stations beyond Rayners Lane to Uxbridge.

On the Elizabeth line, meanwhile, there are minor delays between Hayes and Harlington and Reading due to ‘an earlier customer incident’ at West Drayton. Also, from 7.40am this morning, a reduced service operates between Paddington and Maidenhead / Heathrow.

Acton Main Line, Hanwell, Heathrow Terminal 4, West Drayton, Langley, Slough, Burnham and Maidenhead will be served by two trains an hour. West Ealing will be served by four trains an hour. Ealing Broadway, Southall and Hayes and Harlington will be served by six trains per hour.
