A multi-vehicle accident on the M1 has caused severe delays as traffic is being held at a standstill. The M1 Northbound has been hit with delays just before Junction 5, A41 Colne Way in Watford as congestion is piling back to Edgware and Harrow at Junction 4.
Traffic site Inrix has reported a multi-vehicle accident which has caused all traffic to be temporarily held with severe delays on the motorway.
It is not yet clear how many vehicles are involved or if there have been any injuries. MyLondon has reached out to National Highways and Hertfordshire Police for more information.
