The M3 is disrupted this evening (Sunday, June 23).
In Surrey, an accident between a van and a car closed the road after J3 A322 on the M3 southbound. There is queuing traffic in the area, reports traffic monitoring site Inrix.
Traffic cameras show that all lanes are being held to allow the emergency services to attend.
Diversion route: Follow the ‘solid triangle’ symbol. Exit the M3 at J3 and take the A30 through Bagshot and Camberley to rejoin the M3.
In Hampshire on the M3 northbound, there is congestion from J4A near Farnborough, with delays primarily from J4 A331 Blackwater Valley Route ( Camberley ) to J3 A322 (Lightwater / Bagshot).
There is queueing traffic for four miles due to an earlier accident.
Traffic cameras show all lanes have reopened but residual delays remain.
