An emergency services incident has shut a major south London road. Putney High Street is closed in both directions due to the event.
The road is shut between Chelverton Road and the A205 South Circular. According to traffic updating site Inrix there are delays in the area due to the scene.
The road is closed outside Putney station. Several bus routes are also effected because of the incident.
The are diversions in place for buses 14, 39, 74, 85, 93, 424, 430. The nature of the incident is not yet known but emergency services are in attendance.
