Train services have been cancelled this afternoon after emergency services were called to an incident on the edge of London.

South Western Railway (SWR) said lines between Clapham Junction and Surbiton have been affected. All services had to be stopped earlier for emergency teams to access the track, and although the route has now reopened, disruption is expected until later this afternoon.

Passengers have been warned that services may be cancelled, delayed or revised. They can also use their SWR ticket on other routes including the London Underground, and other National Rail operators.
