A problem at Selhurst is causing disruption for Southern trains this afternoon (Monday, June 17). The incident is affecting trains between Croydon and Streatham.
The problem at Selhurst is under investigation with many lines blocked meaning that trains may be delayed. This is expected up until 5.15pm today the National Rail website is reporting.
The details of the incident are currently unclear.
The routes affected are the Gatwick Express between London Victoria and Brighton, and Southern trains between Watford Junction / London Bridge and East Croydon.
Trains are also affected from London Victoria and Sutton / East Grinstead / Reigate / Epsom Downs / Littlehampton / Bognor Regis / Eastbourne / Portsmouth Harbour / Ore.
Thameslink trains between Bedford and Three Bridges / East Grinstead / Brighton, and between Peterborough and Horsham are also affected.
