London Underground and travel updates as 3 lines and DLR delayed or part closed

Three Tube lines and the DLR are delayed or partly closed in London today (Saturday, April 13). On the Bakerloo line , there are minor delays whilst engineers fix a points failure at Queen’s Park.

Earlier, on the Central line, there were minor delays between Hainault and Leytonstone via Newbury Park due to a faulty train. The route is now serving customers as normal.

The Jubilee line is partly closed all weekend, with no service between West Hampstead and Stanmore. Replacement buses are operating during day service hours only.

  • Service JL1: Stonebridge Park (for Bakerloo line and London Overground connections) – Wembley Park – Kingsbury (Kingsbury Circle) – Queensbury – Canons Park (Honeypot Lane) – Stanmore
  • Service JL2: Finchley Road – West Hampstead (served by buses towards Finchley Road only. For northbound journeys please travel via Finchley Road) – Kilburn – Willesden Green – Dollis Hill (Willesden Bus Garage)- Neasden – Wembley Park

Customers have also been advised that night bus services are available.

On the Metropolitan line , there is no service between Harrow-on-the-Hill and Aldgate. Customers have been urged to use Chiltern Railways services between Harrow-on-the-Hill and Marylebone when available.

Replacement buses are operating.

  • Service ML1: Stonebridge Park (for Bakerloo line and London Overground) – Wembley Park – Preston Road – Kenton (for Bakerloo line and London Overground) – Northwick Park Hospital – Harrow-on-the-Hill
  • Service ML3: Very limited early morning and late evening service when Chiltern Railways services are not operating: Baker Street / Stonebridge Park – Harrow-on-the-Hill only

On the tram network, there is no service between Wellesley Road / George Street and Beckenham Junction / Elmers End / New Addington. Eastbound trams will operate from Wimbledon to Wellesley Road, and westbound trams will operate from George Street to Wimbledon.

Replacement buses are operating.

  • Service TR2: Wellesley Road (starts stop WJ at Whitgift Centre and terminals at stop WY at Electric House for George Street ) – East Croydon (for Lebanon Road) – Sandilands – Addiscombe (Ashburton Road) – Ashburton Park (for Woodside) – Arena – Elmers End (Tesco) – Elmers End Station – Birkbeck – Beckenham Road – Beckenham Junction
  • Service TR3: Wellesley Road (starts stop WJ at Whitgift Centre and terminals at stop WY at Electric House for George Street ) – East Croydon (for Lebanon Road) – Lloyd Park – Coombe Lane – Gravel Hill – Addington Village Interchange – Fieldway – King Henrys Drive – New Addington

On the DLR, there is no service all weekend between Bank / Tower Gateway and Lewisham / Canning Town, and no service between Stratford and Canary Wharf.
