An ‘accident’ involving two vehicles is causing queues of traffic on the M25 for the rush hour journey home. According to traffic monitoring service Inrix, there is congestion to J17 and on the opposite side to J14, Heathrow Terminal 4, due to ‘onlookers’.
Three lanes have been closed and traffic was held for around 15 minutes. The incident reportedly occurred anticlockwise on the M25 before J16, M40, J1A.
There are ‘severe delays’. As of 4.25pm on Monday (June 24), lanes two, three and four, of four, remained closed.
