Issues are building on the M25 as an oil spillage has leaked onto the busy motorway in Surrey this morning (Thursday, July 9).
The A section of the A24 has been completely closed following the leak, which has also been brought onto the M25 at Junction 9 (Leatherhead).
One lane of two has also been closed in Essex clockwise on the exit slip road at Junction 28 A12 (Brentwood/Brook Street Roundabout).
This is due to a broken-down car on the road. However, traffic is reportedly coping well at the moment.
