Man charged after man, 66, stabbed to death in Enfield block of flats

A third man has been charged with the murder of a 66-year-old man who was stabbed to death in the communal area of a block of flats in Enfield. An investigation was launched after police were called at 7.21pm on Friday, March 1, to reports of a man found injured in the communal area of flats in Lockhart Close, Enfield.

Officers responded and found a 66-year-old man with stab injuries. Despite the efforts of the emergency services, George Eric Rogers died at the scene. His next of kin continue to be supported by family liaison officers.

Deeshon Dixon, 32 (12.03.92) of Princes Avenue, N13 was charged with murder on Thursday, 28 March. He was remanded in custody and is due to appear at Highbury Magistrates’ Court on Saturday, 30 March

Another man and woman have also been charged in connection with his murder. They will appear at the Old Bailey for trial on Thursday, 23 May.
