The Chelsea head coach will look ahead to his side’s Premier League clash with Manchester United on Thursday night as the Blues look to return to winning ways. Chelsea are expected to respond after a disappointing 2-2 draw at home to 10-man Burnley at the weekend.
Despite taking the lead twice in the match, and having a man advantage for the entirety of the second half at Stamford Bridge, the Blues were unable to take three points against the relegation-threatened Clarets. Pochettino was not a happy man post-match and was fairly critical of his players – something that is perhaps out of character given his time at Chelsea.
On Thursday night Man United arrive at SW6 as they look to keep their faint Champions League hopes alive. Erik ten Hag’s team also drew at the weekend, after a dramatic stoppage time period saw them share the points against Brentford.
