We are now approaching the official opening of the summer transfer window. Yes, that’s right, the window has not even opened yet with the official start date being Friday, June 14.
Chelsea have already signed one player in Tosin Adarabioyo, who will start work as a Blues player at the beginning of next month after putting pen-to-paper on a free transfer. The west London club are far from done in the window, though, with plenty going on behind the scenes to ensure Enzo Maresca has the best possible squad for his debut season at Stamford Bridge.
The attack seems to be the priority at the moment for Chelsea with a central striker high on the club’s agenda. Jhon Duran from Aston Villa looks to be the most concrete option at the moment with the Blues recently making contact with the 20-year-old’s representatives over a move to London.
Chelsea, though, are not only after a striker, with a winger also wanted this summer. Michael Olise’s name refuses to go away, with the Blues long-term admirers of the 22-year-old’s talents.
