Nottingham Forest supporters delivered a resounding cheer for Morgan Gibbs-White ahead of kick-off against Monaco.
The Reds took on Monaco in a pre-season fixture on Saturday, with Gibbs-White named in the starting lineup while his future at the club remains under intense scrutiny following transfer speculation linking him with Tottenham Hotspur.
Forest supporters made their position abundantly clear before the match commenced, delivering an enthusiastic reception when his name was announced over the tannoy which demonstrates their strong wish for him to remain at the City Ground, reports NottinghamshireLive.
Gibbs-White seemed poised for a departure last week when Spurs activated a £60 million release clause within his contract.
A medical examination was reportedly scheduled to occur last Friday, but the Reds were furious at what they considered to be an illegal approach for Gibbs-White and the move has since stalled.

Gibbs-White has been training alongside his Forest colleagues this week, having been granted extra time away due to his international duties while Tottenham are understood to be considering a renewed offer.
New Spurs manager Thomas Frank was questioned about Gibbs-White during his inaugural press conference on Friday, responding: “You know me well, so I will use what I’ve always said is that I won’t speak about players from outside the club.”
“I will not speak about players who are not mine. I think I have two exceptions, and they are getting older, Ronaldo and Messi. “The rest I will just speak about the players who are inside Tottenham.”
As for Gibbs-White, he made his feelings clear on Forest and the club’s supporters in a post on the social media platform Instagram upon the conclusion of the previous campaign.
“24/25,” he began. “What a season with this incredible club.
“From fighting relegation to being back in Europe after 30 years. Thank you for your unwavering support this season, you’ve been incredible.”
Gibbs-White scored seven goals and provided ten assists for Nuno Espirito Santo’s side as they finished seventh in the Premier Leagiue last season.
