Arsenal fans can start making their arrangements for the 2025/26 season following the release of the new Premier League fixture list. The Gunners are away from home first up as they travel to Manchester United on Sunday, August 17, before then hosting Leeds United at the Emirates Stadium six days later.
Before the big kick-off, Mikel Arteta’s men have pre-season games to play against AC Milan, Newcastle United and Tottenham. There is space in the calendar for a couple more fixtures but as of yet the club have not confirmed any additional friendlies.
The summer friendlies will likely see Arsenal don their new away kit for the very first time. The club’s home kit was released back in May and the team did actually wear it in their final home game of the campaign as they beat Newcastle United courtesy of Declan Rice’s strike.
The latest home offering from adidas has proved a big hit amongst fans already and the hope will be that the away and third kits prove just as popular. Here we take a look at the away and third shirts Bukayo Saka and Co. look set to be wearing in the 2025/26 season:
Away kit
There is a nod to the past with adidas’ latest Arsenal away kit. Leaked images of the jersey (via Footy Headlines) have been doing the rounds on social media for quite some time and it looks set to sell well if the reaction online is anything to go by.
Drawing inspiration from the navy blue Arsenal 1995/96 away kit that Nike produced, a lightning bolt pattern is set to return. Again, the shirt is mainly navy blue but this time it features a distinctive lightning pattern in royal blue all across the shirt.
adidas then use red for their three stripes on the shoulders to make it pop even more and it is completed by white logos, including the iconic Arsenal cannon crest. Having done something similar for their third kit in the 2021/22 season, this time Arsenal’s away kit is much darker but it is once again a bold design.
Third kit
As impressive as Arsenal’s home and away kits are, adidas’ latest design for their third strip may prove to be the most popular by quite some distance. The Gunners look set to return to a white change strip, with leaked images (via Footy Headlines) showing that it is reminiscent of the white and burgundy kit that Nike produced for the club during the 2007/08 and 2008/09 seasons.
As many will quite rightly remember, that is the kit Arsenal wore when Cesc Fabregas scored in a famous 2-0 win over AC Milan at the San Siro in 2008. Arsenal’s latest offering uses the same colours but this time it features a collar and some gold detailing that is used on the shirts cuffs and collar.
adidas will once again be using Arsenal’s cannon crest on their third kit and it features the adidas trefoil logo to give it a retro touch, all of which, including the Emirates shirt sponsor, are in burgundy. Based on the leaked design, Footy Headlines have produced a new mock-up of the shirt and it looks extremely impressive.
As Arsenal’s last couple of third kits have been released in August, Gunners fans may have to wait a little while longer to get their hands on this season’s jersey.
