A newly surfaced optical illusion has left people stumped – as allegedly only two per cent of people can spot the four women that are hidden in a sketch created by Ukrainian artist Oleg Shupliak

If you’re feeling up for a challenge, why not see if you’re in the 2% of the population who can decipher the hidden images in this illustration?

Optical illusions are a great way to get your eyes and mind working in different ways, and this one has left people scratching their heads over what they can see.

In this rather unsetling illusion, there are four women to find, but many people are struggling to see it. The sketch was created by Ukranian artist Oleg Shupliak and shows a woman with long flowing hair – but can you see the other figures within it?

At first glance, the image shows a sketch of a woman with thick hair and a pretty flowing dress – who is smiling while she talks on the phone. It’s relatively simple to see the main woman at first, but there are in fact, another three ladies lingering in the photo somewhere that are trickier to spot.

On Oleg’s website, he states he drew a ‘symbolic composition’ to ‘improve the popular topic’ of optical illusions. The second woman can be seen on the woman’s right hand near her cheek. You likely would have mistaken her for a mobile phone at first.

However, finding the third lady requires more effort. You’ll spot her when you’re looking at the arm of the first woman. To see the third woman you need to look at the side profile, which is why it is a bit more difficult to make out at first.

Thankfully, the fourth and final woman is easier to spot. You’ll notice a pair of lips on the stomach of the first woman. This is a feature of the fourth woman as the entire image is a female itself. Fans can look on the Oleg Shupliak website to see a close-up version of the image to easily spot the women.
