Chelsea can unleash a blockbuster attack on the Premier League next season if six transfers are completed. The Blues are expected to strengthen in this summer’s trading period with the frontline seemingly set for a huge revamp.

The imminent arrival of Liam Delap has already kicked that off as he chose to join Chelsea over Manchester United from Ipswich Town. His £30million relegation release clause was then activated and a medical scheduled for him to seal a Stamford Bridge switch.

Despite the addition of a striker to help lessen the demand on Nicolas Jackson, Chelsea could still yet bring in another natural No.9 with Hugo Ekitike, Jonathan David and Benjamin Sesko all featuring on their shortlist. Victor Osimhen is another that continues to be linked to Chelsea with a permanent departure from Napoli expected.

The other three names are all relatively inexperienced despite boasting strong goal-scoring records. Ekitike has interest from Liverpool while Newcastle want to sign David as a free agent and Arsenal are prioritising Sesko.

Juventus and Manchester United are two potential options for Osimhen but given the experience he has at the highest level, Chelsea should swoop in and sign him. Napoli are expected to demand his release clause, believed to be £63.3million (€75m), is paid in full.

Having grabbed 37 goals this season for Galatasaray, that is a great price especially considering Sesko and Ekitike look set to cost more than that.

It is still a hefty fee and considering that will make it three strikers at the club, questions could be asked regarding whether it is a necessity. However, Christopher Nkunku is set to depart permanently and therefore a gap in the squad should open up.

Signing a new right-footed left winger is another priority with Alejandro Garnacho, Nico Williams and Jamie Gittens among the options linked. It looks as though Chelsea have chosen to pursue the latter with talks having already started as they look to sign him from Borussia Dortmund before the Club World Cup starts on Saturday, June 14.

The England under-21 international is expected to cost £50million and given his profile, it suggests Jadon Sancho may be heading back to Manchester United but talks are taking place to reach a compromise on his wages.

The Guardian has claimed that Chelsea are also open to offers for Noni Madueke with the belief being that his development has stalled. Considering they paid just £29million for his services, recouping that and then some is certainly possible.

Joao Felix also does not appear to have a future in west London with that evidenced by his loan switch to AC Milan just six months after re-joining Chelsea permanently.

Cole Palmer is the main reason for his lack of minutes with the former Manchester City man integral to Enzo Maresca’s plans. Any new signings should also be tailored around the 23-year-old with Osimhen and Gittens likely to be exactly that.

Chelsea will seemingly have sufficient depth to cope with being back in the Champions League and any injuries that arrive next season.

Dream Chelsea attack: Neto, Palmer, Gittens; Osimhen.

On the bench: Jackson, Delap, Sancho.
