An overturned car has shut South London road causing rush hour chaos this morning (Tuesday, April 16). The A223 Perry Hall Road is currently blocked in both directions between Orpington High Street and Goodmead Road.
It was first reported by traffic monitoring site INRIX at 5am. Some 10 bus routes – 51, 61, 208, 353, B14, R1, R3, R4, R6, and R11 – have been diverted due to the incident.
The latest INRIX update reads: “A223 Perry Hall Road in both directions closed due to overturned vehicle and recovery work between A223 High Street and Goodmead Road.”
