The predicted Chelsea lineup for their Premier League trip to Arsenal on Tuesday evening with star player Cole Palmer a massive doubt for the clash at the Emirates Stadium due to illness
Chelsea have no time to feel sorry for themselves after their heart-breaking FA Cup semi-final defeat to Manchester City on Saturday evening, with Arsenal on the horizon for the Blues.
Mauricio Pochettino’s team will make the short trip up to north London as Chelsea visit the Emirates Stadium to take on the Gunners. Mikel Arteta’s men are sitting pretty at the top of the Premier League table at the moment and how the Blues would love to seriously damage their rivals’ title hopes.
However, Pochettino confirmed during Monday’s press conference that Cole Palmer is a big doubt for the match with Arsenal. Palmer, Chelsea’s top goal scorer this season, has not trained following Saturday’s semi-final defeat because of illness and looks unlikely to take part in the London derby this evening.
So, what does that mean for Pochettino? The man they have relied on so much this season will potentially sit out of tonight’s game. Bobby Vincent predicts what the head coach might do below.
