A Bristol-based clinical negligence and personal injury law firm has merged with a larger UK legal practice.

Augustines Injury Law is now part of VWV, which has offices in Birmingham, Bristol, London and Watford. The group includes includes Narrow Quay HR, Narrow Quay Solutions, Cairneagle, VWV Approach and VWV Plus.

The move completes a brand transition that sees all legal services brought under the VWV name, while preserving the team’s specialist focus on personal injury.

“Our team has always been part of VWV, and this change simply brings our personal injury work fully into that identity,” said Nicola Bickham, head of personal injury at VWV.

“What won’t change is our focus. We remain committed to helping individuals navigate their injury claims with clarity, compassion and confidence.”

According to VWV, clients and partners will see no change to the way their cases are handled.

The team also remains the same and will continue to work exclusively on personal injury matters.

Last month, VWV announced the qualification of four solicitors, who had successfully completed their training contracts and will continue their careers with the firm across a variety of practice areas

As of September 1, VWV had 24 trainees, including nine new ones who were starting at the firm. The company also hired four new solicitor apprentices last month, who join the six current apprentices working across the UK.

The newly qualified solicitors will strengthen key practice areas including the real estate and commercial teams in Bristol, London and Watford, VWV said.
