Queen Camilla “held her head high” as she stepped in for King Charles in her latest outing – and “didn’t feel intimidated”, a body language expert has said

Darren Stanton says the Queen carried herself with “ease” similar to the late Queen Elizabeth II at the annual Easter outing. It comes as Queen Camilla stepped in for King Charles at the annual Royal Family Maundy service in Worcestershire, which saw the Royal distributing gifts to 75 men and 75 women on behalf of the King at Worcester Cathedral.

Mr Stanton also adds that Camilla “took her time” during her royal engagement with “no sense of rushing” – which suggests she didn’t feel “pressured” as she stepped in for the King. Furthermore, the expert felt that Queen Camilla has “found her feet” as she feels content with her place. Mr Stanton also says Camilla echoes similar characteristics to Princess Anne, with her level of strength proving she won’t crumble under pressure.

‌The body language expert said: “When we look at Camilla exiting the vehicle, it’s clear she’s feeling confident and strong. She’s now in a position where she feels comfortable taking on duties alone without Charles. She carried herself with ease with no signs of nerves or discomfort. How she carried herself and interacted during the visit was similar to the late Queen. You wouldn’t be able to spot many differences between them.”

Speaking on behalf of Betfair Slots, the expert added: “Camilla’s appearance was executed with confidence, boldness and a lot of self-belief. She held her head high with her shoulders back. Her body posture was perfectly aligned and she took her time. There was no sense of rushing, which tells us she took it in her stride and didn’t feel pressured. Camilla has adjusted to her responsibilities as Queen. We also see her feet spaced apart, which is significant as it tells us she isn’t intimidated and feels comfortable in her surroundings.”

It comes as the Queen has had to take on more responsibilities, after King Charles is undergoing treatment for his cancer. While he isn’t taking on public facing duties, he continues to work behind the scenes. Meanwhile, the Princess of Wales is also out of the public eye as she commences “preventative chemotherapy” for cancer which was picked up on following her major abdominal surgery in January.
